1. The following units can use CommDTM for IO-Link.

2. When parameter setting and monitoring of IO-Link compatible field device are used, the following is required.

| MELSOFT FieldDeviceConfigurator | A FDT frame application is made by Mitsubishi Electric corresponding to the open standard of FDT/DTM. The field devices can be maintained and adjusted by this tool. Please download MELSOFT FieldDeviceConfigurator from Page of Configuration Tool MELSOFT FieldDeviceConfigurator and install it. |
| IODD file | An IODD (IO Device Description) is a set of files that formally describes a device e.g. IO-Link Device. The IODD is created by the device vendor. Please obtain it from the field device vender. |
| IODD DTM Configurator | A software which takes in the IODD file operates as Device DTM※1.This product is included in the CommDTM installer for IO-Link. |
※1：A software module is used for parameter setting and monitoring of field devices.
3. The following software is required.

※2：If it does not have the above software version, it will be installed by CommDTM installer for IO-Link.
※3：Windows Installer .About 350 MB of free space is required on the system drive to install .NetFramework.
4．If CommDTM for IO-Link shall be updated, uninstall the existing one and install it.
If CommDTM for IO-Link have been already installed and the version is different, it can not be installed.
5．If IODD DTM Configurator (e.g. IODD interpreter ) have been already installed from other company,
this IODD DTM Configurator will overwrites it.
Please do not install this IODD DTM Configurator when using IODD DTM Configurator from other company.
When this IODD DTM Configurator is installed, the registered DTM catalog will be inherited.
Please download the file to an arbitrary folder.
When the downloaded file is unpacked, the sw1dnn-iolcdtm-bd_103d folder is created.
unpacking method 1） In case of OS with ZIP compatible unpacking function.
1．Please right-click the downloaded file.
2．Please select "Expand all ...".
If "Expand all ..." is not displayed, please perform unpacking method 2).
3．Please specify the deployment destination and click on the "expand" button to unpack it.
unpacking method 2） In case of OS without ZIP compatible unpacking function.
1．If ZIP-compatible unpacking tool is not available, please get the unpacking tool.
2．Please unpack with the unpacking tool. Please unpack it with a directory when unpacking.
※Regarding the use of the unpacking tool, please do at your own risk.
1．Please execute setup.exe in sw1dnn-iolcdtm-bd_103d folder.
2．Please follow the installer message to install.
3．Please install IODD DTM Configurator after installing CommDTM for IO-Link.
