- When using MELSOFT FieldDeviceConfigurator to monitor or set parameter of field device, the following is necessary.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| CommDTM | The software module for which is setting communication with field device through master from personal computer.
Please specially download CommDTM of Mitsubishi Electric product from [DTM Collection] Category of Page Top and install it to personal computer. |
| Device DTM | The software module for monitoring or setting the parameter of field device etc.
Please get Device DTM from each sensor device manufacturer. |
- When monitoring or setting the parameter of field device supported by IO-Link, in addition to the above CommDTM, the following is necessary.

| IODD File | The XML file for describing the fixed information of field device supported by IO-Link created by field device manufacturer.
Please get IODD file from each field device manufacturer. |
| IODD DTM Configurator | The software which operate the IODD file (Device describing file of IO-Link) as Device DTM.
Because IODD DTM Configurator is enclosed in the M_CommDTM_IO-Link installer in [Page of IO-Link Module Support CommDTM], please download specially and install it to personal computer. |
Precautions
- Please log on the personal computer as "Administrator" or "Administrator User".
- Before executing install, please end the all operating applications. If install is executed when other applications are in operating status, the product will not operate normally sometimes.
- Please do not change to power-saving mode (Stand By, Suspend Status or Sleep) when installing software.
- Mitsubishi Electric do not vouch for the each software products which is supported by Microsoft Windows Operating System and introduced by our company.
- MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC Co.,Ltd retains the copyright of this product software.
- This product (including Manual) can be used only under the software contract.
- For the results of using this product (including Manual), Mitsubishi Electric is not responsible for any responsibility.
[Uninstall]
Please uninstall the software from the Control Panel of Windows.
